Surprised at how difficult it was to source a quality solid wood shoe cabinet locally, I was so pleased to discover SlabStudioHongKong because I was finally able to find exactly what I was looking for. Yeung was great to deal wth - super responsive to my many questions regarding wood selection, customization and how the shipping process worked. I was so pleased with the whole experience that I decided to order a TV stand in the same walnut wood. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the walnut wood, stunning! The furniture is solidly built and the unexpected ventilation openings at the back of the shoe cabinet reflect thoughtful design and attention to detail. The furniture arrived in perfect condition, having been well packed in protective wrapping and securely encased in a wooden shipping crate. I couldn’t be happier with my purchases and it was well worth the wait. I would gladly recommend SlabStudioHongKong to anyone looking for quality custom made solid wood pieces for your home.

The overall experience of ordering and delivery was great. The price was for a custom piece of furniture of real walnut is unbelievable.

We were a bit nervous about ordering expensive furniture from the other side of the planet but it turned out to be as easy as ordering from a neighbouring state!
We ordered a large black walnut dresser and matching large shelving unit to California and it was about 9/10 weeks from order to delivery iirc.
Both are beautifully made, traditional dove tailed joinery, lovely grain selections - super happy with what we received and they look great.
Shipping was done via a pair of custom pallets/crates - very well protected and the delivery company were also exceptional.

Team came over to help measure up a new apartment and help suggest pieces. Dining table, chairs, credenzas, entertainmemt unite and bedside tables were of excellent build quality. Delivery was quick, very happy :)

Yeung helped us with this custom made table from start to finish.
We requested a glass top instead of a standard wooden top. So he advised on certain design changes that were needed very carefully and clearly. The table was made to our specifications and turned out just as we hoped. We are over the moon with what was eventually delivered.

From start to finish Yeung helped us all the way.
He was quite clear concerning the amount of time the piece of furniture would take to arrive.

I ordered a custom bed frame and bedside tables and am overjoyed with the quality of the finished product. The pieces not only look beautiful, but the workmanship is outstanding and the wood is silky smooth to touch. I was initially nervous about ordering online from overseas, but I’m so happy I did and now have a bedroom set that will last a lifetime.

This black walnut coffee table from Slab Studio Hong Kong is beautiful and solidly built. The wood grain and finish look premium, and the hidden drawers are super practical. It has a clean, modern look that fits perfectly in my space.

I ordered it online and got an immediate message from a Slab Studio Hongkong team member by email to double check the order and type of wood (glad they did it as I did not pick the correct one).

It took 100 days in total from the day of purchase until the day of delivery here in Paris. So be prepared to wait a bit before getting it delivered at home (they are announcing a few weeks to make it and then 60 days for shipping here in EU).

The furniture was delivered in a big wooden box and was very well packed with just the 2 sliding glass doors and 2 legs/feet to be mounted. Not a single scratch or anything like that thanks to the wooden box and lots of protection within the box. Well done for all the preparation and cautious packing work.

The wood seems to be of very good quality and the furniture is 100% aligning with pictures and description. The general feeling and look of it is making it kind of premium.

The only point to be aware of is about the upper sliding doors as the rails in which they are sliding is simply wood. Meaning that while the sliding is very smooth and functional, the sound of the sliding is not 100% pleasant (it would be nice having a kind of material in the grooves/rails to make the sliding sound more pleasant/discreet).

But the above mentioned point is not a big blocker or negative aspect as you can see I still put 5 stars in my rating.

Also, please don't be anxious about the fact that the order status is not getting updated in your account. My status kept being the same from day 1 whatever the advancement of the order. The bed arrived in less than 8 weeks from purchase (we're US based), and it's a beautiful king bed, very high quality wood and construction. This would cost 2-3x+ what we paid for similar quality in the US. Highly recommend this studio!

We ordered a shoe storage and are in love with this piece, the quality was fantastic, it was fully hardwood which is rare to find in shops today. Yueng helped arrange a split payment to allow the payment to be made in 2 installments which I very much appreciated. Emails were often within an hour of receipt and answered any queries we had. I was so happy with the product I ended up ordering again from the company!

I was looking for a shoe cabinet for my entryway, but had a hard time finding pieces that were not just particle board and cheap construction. I messaged Slab Studio on WhatsApp and they were very responsive throughout the process from helping me pick the right wood and stain to match my space, providing progress updates and photos, and shipping status updates on request. They even were gracious enough to customize the cabinet with soft-close doors.

The cabinet exceeded my expectations. The quality is clear from the moment you see it in person. The walnut finish is smooth and rich, with visible wood grain that gives it a premium feel.

It arrived in a wooden crate, which protected it very well, but was also took some effort and tools to open. That is an understandable tradeoff for a high quality piece being shipped across the globe.

I would highly recommend Slab Studio for their furniture. The solid wood construction and high quality finishes look at home with other mid-high tier furniture like RH, Arhaus, etc.

The bed is absolutely beautiful! We love it. The wood color and grain are as pictured. The craftmanship is amazing. The bed arrived in a crate. All of the pieces were carefully wrapped. Only a few bolts were needed to put the bed together. All of the other parts fit perfectly together. I would highly recommend using Slab Studio Hong Kong. If you are ordering for delivery to the US it does at 45 days for arrival after production, but it is worth it if you can wait.

I have recieved my coffeetable and I am very happy :-) I had big expectations and was'nt dissapointed. The wood (dark solid american walnut) is very beautifull and the craftsmanship is of high quality. It fits my other furniture and the livingroom perfectly. I am certain I will enjoy and have this furniture for many years.
It took aprox. 4 monts from placing the order to delivery in Copenhagen and the intire process was smooth and hasslefree. The deliverytime was communicated when I ordered the furniture so I expected the deliverytime.
The wooden box in which the furniture came was solid and ensured the the furniture was'nt damaged during transportation.
I am VERY satisfied and I won't hesitate to buy furniture from Slabstudiohongkong in the future.

The bed is beautiful. It arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble. The craftsmanship is very good and my daughter loves it!

We got a this cabinet in unstained ash. They reached out to us to confirm whether this was on purpose (it was), and around two months later this beauty of woodworking showed up. It's astonishing quality, doubly so given the price.

Only complaint is that we didn't have any shipping info until we got a call from freight delivery after it had already cleared customs. That's minor, however, since the folks are responsive to email, so you can always get a human to talk to.

I ordered 4 cabinets for my kitchen. In the past I ordered a side table for my couch. I was afraid of the shipping from so far as I am in the USA, but to my surprise it was super easy. The furniture are my favorite. They are cherry and the finish is impeccable. The furniture are high quality and the craftsmanship is excellent. They came mostly assembled, and putting the together was a breeze. I needed some cabinets to have different dimensions that what was offered and they were able to fulfill my requirements. I couldn't be more happy, and I am planning to order some large wardrobes next.

To put it short, I simply cannot recommend this vendor enough.
To put a few more words to it: Well, this was my first time buying a piece of high end furniture and being of fairly modest means I knew I wanted a cabinet in a very particular style and which would last for a very long time. I found slabstudio early in my search and fell in love with this piece, I was however hesitant to shell out this amount of money, but search as I might I simply could find another cabinet from other vendors in a similar style that I liked as much.

Finally I bit the bullet and contacted slabstudio regarding a custom order. The original piece as advertised comes with two sliding doors with open slats but this didn't quite match the aesthetic I wanted. I therefore asked if it would be possible to modify one of the sliding doors so as to have it match the drawer section while retaining the sliding door function and slabstudio after some clarification, including me sending some rough mockups made in paint, replied that they could certainly do that for me.
The entire ordering process was very pleasant and they were quite helpful.
I made the order on 8 november 2024 and recieved the piece, which was very securely packaged, on 17 february 2025.

Now I live in denmark so a delivery time of just over 3 months for a custom piece of high end carpentry shipped all the way from Hong Kong is quite fast in my book.

Lastly i would to note that slabstudio included shipping expenses and import taxes in the price. Again, I live in Denmark so I was somewhat sceptical of this, thinking that surely i'd be getting a call from customs so they could slap me with that 25% VAT. It turned out to be true though and the cabinet was delivered without having to deal with customs.

The cabinet itself is beautiful. From the wood itself, the finish and the detailing. It is quite solid and I almost blew out my back getting it up the stairs to my second story apartment. Additionally, the custom sliding door could not be closer to what i had envisioned, to the point that I suspect they straight up used the same size and type of recessed grip handle as I used in my mockups.

I highly praise slabstudio for their work and thoroughly recommend them. Excellent customer service, excellent craftmanship and the price is remarkably cheap compared to my local market so I will almost certainly be buying from them again if I can save up enough to buy something else in this price range.

I purchased this all walnut Japanese Style television console in the biggest size they offer but I wasn't quite happy with how short it was, but that wasn't a problem for these guys. I told them I needed it a few inches bigger and they made it happen. I was worried the proportions were going to be all off , that was not the case. Everything came out perfect. The shipment came well boxed so there was no damage during shipping.. I'm looking into buying more pieces from these guys again..
