Our goal at SlabstudioHongKong is to supply high quality, handmade furniture that is unique to each customer.

We accept cancellations with a reason after 6 hours from the time that the order was placed.Please take extra care when placing orders to ensure that all details are correct and that you are happy with the size and design of your piece.

Our furniture is made-to-order. As such, an item cannot be canceled once it is in transit for delivery and production.

Please note that your furniture is being made to order, especially for you. Once an order is placed, we do our best to expedite crafting so your furniture will arrive to your home asap. When possible, we contact our craftsman the day of your order and the process of selecting wood and scheduling crafting begins. Because finished pieces have been made for a specific customer. it is very difficult for us to re-sell cancelled orders.In additional,we already have done some design and work too.

Order Cancellation, Modifications, and Cancellation by Us

All orders placed on our website are for custom-made, solid wood furniture. Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, cancellations and modifications are subject to the following terms:

Cancellations by Customers:

Customers may request to cancel an order within 72 hours of placing the order.Cancellation requests made within 72 hours require our written approval.

Once an order has exceeded 72 hours, it can no longer be cancelled by the customer and require our written approval.

After 72 hours, we reserve the absolute right to not approve any cancellation requests.If we approve a cancellation request after 72 hours, a 20% cancellation fee will apply. This fee will be deducted from any refund issued.

Modifications by Customers:

Customers may request modifications to their order within 72 hours of placing the order.
Modification requests made within 72 hours require our written approval.
Approved modifications may incur additional charges depending on the scope of changes.
We reserve the right to deny modification requests that would impact the production timeline or costs.

Cancellations by Us:

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.
Reasons for cancellation may include, but are not limited to, inventory shortages, pricing errors, or the unavailability of a custom feature.
If we cancel an order, we will provide a full refund to the customer.

Please note that all of our solid wood furniture is made-to-order and requires 90-100 days for the full production, shipping, and assembly process. Orders cannot be canceled once they have exceeded the 72-hour window.

Returns will be accepted within 30 days after delivery.we will process a refund to your original payment method. 

For customer remorse

This happens when the customer purchased the wrong product, it doesn't fit, or they no longer want the item:Customer responsibility.The customer need to pay shipping fee in this situation.

Custom, showroom items and special orders may not be returned.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer .However,we are happy to assist with shipping logistics upon request.

Items must be in "as-new" condition. If damage is evident, Slabstudiohongkong reserves the right to charge a reasonable restoration charge.

Pending inspection, a credit or refund will be issued for the item value a 30% restocking fee.

Please know that it is an international deal, It is also unfair to customers who needed to pay a high transportation cost for return these furniture.We wish we can communicate when unexpected conditions are happened.

All items are quality checked before being sent out for delivery. Unfortunately, despite all good intentions, errors can sometimes occur. 

For defective products:

If the item you receive is wrong, damaged or faulty from Slabstudiohongkong made, we will do everything we can to make sure this is rectified. Please provide a detailed, written description of the issue, including photographs of the item and in particular, any areas of damage that you have found. We will provide a partial refund for products respectively.If it is damaged or faulty during shipping,please follow the instruction from shipping policy.

Any damage that has occurred during home assembly will not be covered . Feel free to ask for our advice if you have any queries prior to self assembly.But more of our furnitures are full assembled except the furniture leg.

We celebrate the natural characteristics of wood and try to avoid unnecessary wastage wherever possible. The timber we use is of high quality but we will often include small knots, cracks, shakes and variations in grain and colour. The varied nature of the material combined with some of the industrial processes we use may result in small machining/ pitting marks in the wood. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique and we do not consider this an acceptable reason for return or refund.

The timber we use is dried to the correct moisture level for indoor use. As a natural material, wood is susceptible to minor dimension changes, including shrinking, warping and splitting as a result of changes in temperature or humidity. 

We are unable to accept returns resulting from changes to the climate or environment. We cannot offer refunds or compensation for issues relating to acts of nature, war, pandemics or other disasters.
